Summary
A multi-site healthcare system in southern Maine is seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Addiction Psychiatrist to work in Addiction Recovery. An internist or General Practitioner who is Board Eligible/Board Certified in Addiction Medicine will also be considered. Suboxone authorization or eligibility (DEA "X") is required. Those with experience in Addiction Medicine without Fellowship Training are invited to inquire. The physician in this role will provide clinical leadership to the recovery unit. Teaching of medical students and Residents/Fellows is part of this position, and a clinical faculty appointment is anticipated. Research opportunities are also encouraged. This facility is able to support H1B Visa candidates. Participation in a reasonable call rotation is mandatory. Southern Maine is beautiful and provides a great place to raise a family.
