Diagnostic Radiologist Locum Tenens
Location: On-site & Remote Overland Park, KS
Facility: BJC Medical Group Saint Luke s South
Start Date: October 1, 2025 (August preferred if available)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (flexible, ongoing need)
Credentialing Timeframe:
Full Privileges: 90 days
Temporary Privileges: Available in as little as 1 week (preferred lead time longer)
On-site & Remote hybrid model
Shifts: Days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Call: Evening and weekend call coverage required
Standard Hours: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM at one site; call covers both locations
Night Shifts: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (flexible)
Looking for: Providers open to all shifts, especially night/evening coverage
Board Certification: Not required (must be within 2 years of residency if not BC)
Licensure: Active KS license or open to licensing
Experience: No specific years required; must be able to handle wide variety of procedures
Patient Population: Adults
EMR: Epic
PACS: Change/McKesson
Avg Daily Census: Not specified
Support Team: 24% physician coverage, 5% APP; dedicated IR suites, techs, nurses, and radiology managers at each site
General Diagnostics: MRI, CT, Fluoroscopy, Tomography
Nuclear Medicine: Imaging, Therapy, Radionuclide Ventriculography
Special Procedures (Image-Guided):
Paracentesis, Thoracentesis
Lumbar puncture, Joint aspirations
Drain placements, Chest tube
Biopsies (Core, FNA, Marrow, CT/US/Fluoro-guided)
Joint injections, Arthrograms
Advanced Interventions (as applicable):
TIPS, Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty
Angiography, Carotid stenting
Fallopian tuboplasty, Liver biopsy
Neuro/Cerebrovascular interventions
