    Cardiothoracic Surgeon

    Southwest Georgia


    Practice Highlights

    • 690 bed not-for-profit healthcare system
    • Advanced Care: Level II Trauma Center with Level I Cardiac Care Center
    • Comprehensive Care: Multispecialty Heart & Vascular Team providing full range of cardiac programs
    • Desirable Practice Setting: OR Technology includes (2) State-of-the-Art da Vinci xi Robots, Updated VATS, 3 Perfusionists, 2 RNFAs, dedicated cardiac team with 24/7 Anesthesia coverage, CRNA, and experienced APPs in clinic
    • Advanced Procedure Capabilities: CABG, AVR, Valve replacement, TAVR, Thoracotomy
    • Imaging Modalities: Transthoracic, transesophageal, echocardiogram, TEE, nuclear imaging, Cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, procedural intervention with structural procedures, such as Watchman, complicated TAVR, and Mitraclip
    • Family-Friendly: On-site quality-rated daycare and preschools available for employees

    Qualifications

    • Degree: MD or DO
    • Training: Cardiothoracic Surgeon Fellowship trained
    • Certifications: Board certified (or eligible)
    • Experience: Open to all applicants including new graduates and seasoned providers
    • Preferred: Cardiac focused
    • Sponsorship: Ability to sponsor J1 and H1B visas

    Compensation & Benefits

    • $722,000 Financial Package + RVU Production + Additional Call Pay
    • Work Life Balance: 27 days PTO plus 7 holidays
