Position Details: Provider Title: MD Provider Type: Physician Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Start Date: 07-01-2024 End Date: Ongoing Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day Providers Requested: 1 EMR System: Epic Facility Accepts Multiple Providers?: Yes Practice Setting: Outpatient Is Both Inpatient and Outpatient Required?: No Provider Requires Hospital/Surgery Center Privileges?: Yes Admissions Required?: No Are Temporary Privileges Available?: No Is Hospital Stroke Certified?: No Patients Per Shift: 12-25 Bed In Department: Clinic Rounding: N/A Practice Details: Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call Practice Setting: Outpatient Additional Details: Join our outpatient clinic with a schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM, with no weekends/nights call required unless the physician is available to assist with "peds" call (hospital admits/nursery). The patient volume is small, with approximately 100 deliveries per year and minimal pediatric admissions. We are willing to accept adult medicine only if available. Pediatrics would represent a small portion of the clinic panel. Call coverage is required only if the locum tenens is a Family Practice physician capable of performing "peds/nursery call for the hospital." There are minimal pediatric admissions, and approximately 100 births per year, with a small volume. A 3-6 month commitment is ideal.
