OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity " Jacksonville, FL We are seeking OB/GYN physicians with outstanding clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to help shape the future of hospital-based obstetrics. This role involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. Position Highlights: Clinician-centered structure with exceptional work/life balance Flexible scheduling " typically seven 24-hour shifts per month No office management or on-call responsibilities Guaranteed shifts and hourly rate Potential for bonuses Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage CME allowance 401k retirement plan with employer match Malpractice insurance with unlimited tail coverage Leadership training and advancement opportunities Private peer-to-peer counseling and supportive national network of colleagues About 21 days off per month Hospital Information Orange Park Medical Center provides safe and personalized birth experiences with private labor, delivery, and recovery rooms, as well as an on-site NICU. Certified nurse midwives are on staff, and the hospital offers extensive breastfeeding support through board-certified lactation consultants, group classes, and a partnership with Mothers Milk Bank. The facility currently averages approximately 2,100 annual deliveries and has been recognized as a five-star recipient in obstetrics, gynecology, and labor & delivery (including both vaginal deliveries and C-sections) by Healthgrades. Families also benefit from a range of educational offerings, including C-section and sibling preparedness classes.
