    Locum Tenens Opportunity: Hematology/Oncology Physician Near Parker, CO

    We are seeking a skilled Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum tenens position near Parker, CO. This opportunity is ideal for a physician interested in a long-term, ongoing role within a growing clinic. The position involves providing comprehensive care to patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses, including supervision of chemotherapy treatments.     Schedule & Responsibilities:
    • Work Schedule:

      • Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break).
      • Friday: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Remote Triage).
    • Clinic Setting:

      • Provide clinic coverage and chemotherapy supervision in a dedicated hematology/oncology clinic.
      • The role involves managing and treating patients with both hematologic and oncologic conditions.
      • Responsible for building and growing the subspecialty practice within the cancer center.
    • Patient Care:

      • Manage hematologic and medical oncology diagnoses.
      • Supervise chemotherapy treatments four days per week.
      • Collaborate with a team that includes Medical Assistants and Registered Nurses to deliver patient-centered care.
    Support & Resources:
    • Support Staff:
      • You will be supported by a dedicated team of Medical Assistants (MA) and Registered Nurses (RN).
    • Electronic Medical Records (EMR):
      • The clinic utilizes the Epic EMR system, ensuring efficient documentation and patient management.
    • Comprehensive Care:
      • The clinic is equipped with a chemotherapy treatment space, a Breast Center, and capabilities in breast surgery and radiation oncology, providing a full spectrum of cancer care.
    Requirements:
    • Certification:
      • Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology.
      • Current BLS and DEA certifications are required.
    • Licensure:
      • Must hold a valid medical license in the state of Colorado.
