Seeking BE/BC Psychiatrists to join 140+ bed inpatient behavioral health hospital. The new facility is expected to open spring of 2025 and will serve as a center of excellence dedicated to the mental health needs of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Employed Growing 9-hosptial private not for profit healthcare system with locations across eastern North Carolina Opportunity available due to service line expansion Hospital privileges at one of four academic medical centers in North Carolina as well as at the new behavioral health hospital Academic appointment 7 on 7 off schedule - 7am-7pm Providers will be expected to participate in teaching of medical students and/or residents and if desired conduct research Referral network includes 29 county area with a population of 1.4 million people Opportunities exist for student loan repayment from the North Carolina Medical Society and The North Carolina Office of Rural Health Competitive Compensation and Comprehensive Benefits to include: Administrative Stipend, Relocation, Paid Vacation, Sick, & Holidays, Malpractice/Tail Coverage, 401k matching/457, Medical, Dental, & Vision The Community: Widely recognized as the thriving cultural, educational, economic and medical hub of eastern North Carolina, Greenville is the 10 th largest city in the state with a metropolitan population of nearly 100,000.
