Work closely with a wide range of service lines including oncology, surgery, pulmonary, digestive health, ENT, and critical care to provide diag and therapeutic interventions across the continuum of care. Scope of Services: 80 % General and 20 % Interventional Procedures. Highlights: Consultation Services: Providing timely consultation to ED physicians, general surgeons, primary care physicians, and other specialists and therapeutic options for patients. Patient Care: Conducting pre-procedural patient assessment and post-procedural management and follow-up, often in a clinic setting. Diag Imaging: In a community hospital setting, the IR will expect to read 80 % of general diag imaging studies (X-rays, CTs, MRIs, ultrasound) as part of a mixed practice. Quality Improvement: Participating in the hospital's quality monitoring and improvement programs.
