    PEDIATRIC CARDIOTHORACIC ANESTHESOLOGY Join a respected academic medical center at University of Mississippi Medical Center Position Highlights : Desirable Practice Setting: High-acuity regional referral center with complex congenital, neonatal cardiac, ECMO, and structural heart cases Program growth with institutional backing and ability to help shape a developing service line Ideal Work Environment: Centralized, high-acuity pediatric cardiac volume with consistent complex congenital case exposure Tight-knit, multidisciplinary heart team with seamless collaboration with surgery, cardiology, ICU, and perfusion Leadership visibility, program-building opportunity, and meaningful teaching involvement. Favorable Call Schedule: Majority of call taken from home with structured rotation to limit frequency Protected post-call days off - weekday and most weekend call followed by guaranteed recovery time Culture & Support: Fully staffed, subspecialty-trained division with dedicated pediatric anesthesia team and no coverage gaps Support from a comprehensive childrens hospital within a stable academic health system and established residency and fellowship programs Compensation & Benefits : Competitive Compensation: $500K to $550K based on rank and experience Relocation Assistance & Sign-on Incentive Professional Development: $5750 annual CME allowance with 5 protected days Lucrative Retirement: 1:1 retirement match International Visa Support: Unlimited J1 waivers Qualifications : Degree: MD or DO, board-certified/eligible in Anesthesiology Fellowship Training: ACGME approved Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesiology training required Licensure: Eligibility to obtain a Mississippi medical license About the Community Easy Commutes: Most physicians live within 1520 minutes of campus Diverse and Welcoming Medical Community: Known for collegial collaboration and support Job Reference #: PCV26247
