The Hospital is a busy, successful Critical Access Hospital in the heart of the Mt. Washington Valley surrounded by the White Mountains of NH. Become part of an expanding and innovative practice model of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Subspecialty interests welcome. This position provides a unique opportunity for candidates to be based full time providing patients with orthopedic services in the community. The Orthopedic program at includes state-of-the-art elective and trauma based orthopedic surgery coupled with a robust outpatient orthopedic, sports medicine practice. Member of a premier healthcare system, and is nationally renowned for its innovative programs in rural healthcare. Candidates should be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. M.D. or D.O. with an active and unrestricted medical license in the State of NH or the ability to obtain prior to employment. An active or unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment. We offer comprehensive medical, dental, vision. CME time, vacation and retirement plan. Relocation assistance/reimbursement and professional liability coverage included. Call is 1 in 3 and involves elective and acute orthopedic surgery. Practice is supported by non-surgical Sports Medicine provider(s), and PAs. North Conway offers a wonderful location for individuals and families who love the outdoors and the New England life style.
