    Seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team, providing expert inpatient care on a 7on 7off shift model (either 12-hour or 24-hour shifts). Our hospitalists serve as a vital bridge between inpatient and primary care, ensuring seamless communication with referring physicians about their patients status during hospitalization. Key Responsibilities Serve as the pediatrician of record during each patients hospital stay, coordinating care with primary care physicians and subspecialists. Streamline the admission and discharge process to improve patient safety, timeliness of care, and minimize hospital costs by ensuring prompt discharges for medically ready patients. Rapidly assess and intervene for any child whose condition deteriorates, supervising and coordinating transfers to the pediatric intensive care unit when necessary, and managing transfers from the PICU to the acute care floor. Teach and supervise pediatric residents during Patient Centered Rounds, contributing to the education of future pediatricians. Actively participate in medical staff committees, reviewing medical care and promoting patient safety. Develop, implement, and monitor clinical pathways to enhance quality of care for a variety of pediatric conditions. Follow national guidelines and evidence-based practices to deliver the most up-to-date care. Shift Model 7 days on, 7 days off (either 12-hour or 24-hour shifts) Hospitalists are onsite at all times during their scheduled shifts, providing continuous coverage.
