    We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role in Pollocksville, NC providing home health services. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will assist patients in regaining everyday skills, implement treatment plans, fabricate adaptive devices, and support discharge planning and care coordination. This role requires documentation of patient care, participation in performance improvement, and adherence to privacy and compliance programs.


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Graduation from an occupational therapy assistant education program accredited by ACOTE or successor organization.
    • Current state licensure/certification required to practice in North Carolina.
    • Minimum 6 months of occupational therapy assistant experience.
    • Current CPR certification required.
    • Basic knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury required.
    • Good organizational and communication skills and the ability to function with moderate supervision.


    Preferred Qualifications

    • BLS certification from AHA or ARC preferred.
    • Experience with home health settings preferred.


    Assignment Details

    • Nights, 5x8.
    • May require participation in community reintegration activities and coordination with interdisciplinary teams.
