GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Performs routine to moderately complex (journey-level) computer programming work including interacting closely with project management and customers to develop requirements, design, build and maintain custom web applications. The focus for this position will be on development of business applications in a low code environment like ServiceNow. Works under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs additional duties as assigned. Complies with all Agency, Division and Branch rules, regulations, and procedures.
Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Sixty semester hours from an accredited college or university.
Experience: One year of full-time experience developing business applications using a low-code platform such as Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, or a comparable tool.
Licensure: Must possess valid state driver's license upon hire.
ACCEPTABLE SUBSTITUTIONS: Education: One additional year of business application development experience may substitute for 30 semester hours of the required education, with a maximum substitution of 60 semester hours.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience: Experience developing applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model Driven).
Experience building workflows and process automation using Power Automate.
Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Azure services.
Experience with version control systems such as Azure DevOps or Git.
Experience working with Dataverse or basic data modeling.
Experience with Power BI and Power Query.
Experience with JSON, REST APIs, or connecting to external data sources.
