    What you will do Receive service calls from Service Team, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctionsContact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problemsDiagnose problems and perform service and repairs on marine and offshore fire detection systems, with emphasis on addressable fire alarm platforms (Tyco / Zettler / Minerva series, including T2000 panels)Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals and OEM documentationService, troubleshoot and install Fire & Life Safety systems, including Tyco Marine and Zettler systemsRead and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematicsSupport Sales and Business leader on commercial proposal elaboration, defining service and project scopes and solutionsSupport commissioning, testing, and loop/device diagnosticsProvide excellent customer service and communicationParticipate in on-call rotation and emergency response activitiesTrain and mentor team members when applicableHow you will do it Troubleshoot and repair installed systems including panel diagnostics, loop configuration, and device addressingUtilize OEM documentation and technical resourcesProgram and configure addressable fire alarm systems and network panelsWork within marine safety standards and environmentsProvide documentation and service reports in a timely mannerSupport system upgrades and retrofitsWhat we look for Required: 5+ years of experience in low voltage and Fire/Life Safety systemsExperience with addressable fire alarm systems (Tyco, Zettler, Minerva preferred)Ability to read technical drawings and manualsStrong troubleshooting skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid driver's licenseAdditional Requirements: Willingness to travel frequently, including international travelAbility to work in marine and offshore environments (vessels, shipyards, offshore platforms)Availability for emergency call-outs and after-hours serviceComfortable working in physically demanding and confined environmentsThis position is non-unionPreferred: NICET Level II or higherMarine or offshore system experienceExperience with loop-based architecture and networked fire panelsHiring hourly range : $29-$40 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)This position includes a competitive benefits package.
