    AFO is looking for a Full Time Security Officer to work in Reston, VA. This position requires current TS/SCI or current TS with the ability to obtain a SCI endorsed clearance. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

    Responsibilities

    • Required to understand and operate the access control system.

    • Required to authenticate Common Access Cards.

    • Make DTRA badges.

    • Meets and escorts DTRA site visitors as needed.

    • Assists visitors with contacting their government points of contact.

    • May be required to provide directions to visitors.

    • Communicates clearly and orally with visitors as required.

    Qualifications

    • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

    • May be required to move between facility buildings.

    • Must be able to function in all types of weather environments.

    • Always be alert and maintain situational awareness while on duty.

    • Perform all necessary physical duties without assistance.

    • Must be able to take general directions, both oral and written.

    • High School diploma or equivalent required.

    • One year of general work experience dealing with the public.

    • Must have a TS/SCI with Eligibility Clearance.
