    Traffic Control Flagger - Veteran Preferred

    Location: Metro Atlanta, North of Atlanta, South of Atlanta

    Job Type: Full-time

    Key Responsibilities: As a Traffic Control Flagger, your primary responsibilities will include:
    1. Managing traffic flow around construction sites.
    2. Installing traffic cones and signs on-site.
    3. Communicating efficiently with team members using handheld devices and hand signals.
    4. Removing barricades, traffic cones, and signs upon project completion.
    5. Directing traffic using hand signals and signage.
    6. Alerting the construction crew to any traffic-related safety concerns.
    7. Complying with all company rules and regulations.
    8. Completing required daily and weekly paperwork promptly.
    9. Ensuring proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with Company policy.
    10. Safeguarding the safety and security of clients, colleagues, and the public in or near the work zone, adhering to ATSSA standards.
    11. Reporting concerns or issues directly to a Field Supervisor.
    12. Performing other assigned duties as necessary.
    Flagger Requirements: To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
    1. Valid Driver's License is a must.
    2. Clean driving record is required.
    3. Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and maintenance of a drug-free status.
    4. Ability to stand, lift, bend, and twist for extended periods.
    5. Capability to repetitively lift 65+ pounds.
    6. Team player with the ability to work in challenging and adverse weather conditions.
    7. Exceptional observation skills.
    8. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    9. Proficiency in non-verbal communication techniques such as hand signals and signs.
    10. Capability to work with minimal supervision.
    11. Preferred but not required: Prior experience as a Flagger or in a similar position within the Construction industry.
    12. Strong knowledge of traffic rules.

    • You are responsible for providing/purchasing your own boots (leather or suede).
