HIRING IMMEDIATELY
Sunstates Security is currently hiring Part-Time Security Officers in the Ewing, NJ area. We have 1st shift available on the weekends! This position offers a pay rate of $20.00/hr - with weekly pay.
As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. You will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, monitoring surveillance equipment, controlling access, and responding to incidents in a calm and professional manner.
Key responsibilities:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence.
- Complete incident and shift reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Control access to buildings and restricted areas.
- Report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies in accordance with established procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service while ensuring rules and regulations are followed.
- Valid NJ SORA security guard license.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security or leadership training a plus.
- 1+ years of experience in security.
- Strong observation and communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Basic computer skills and ability to write clear reports.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work indoors/outdoors as needed.
- Saturdays & Sundays from 0800-1600
Education Requirements (All)
High School diploma or equivalent
Certification Requirements (All)
NJ SORA License
