    Position Summary

    The Uniformed Unarmed Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both employees and visitors at our facility in Nashville, Tennessee. This position involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The associate will serve as a visible deterrent to potential security threats while providing assistance and guidance to individuals on-site. Effective communication and conflict resolution skills are essential, as the associate will interact with a diverse range of people daily. Ultimately, the goal of this role is to foster a secure atmosphere that promotes peace of mind for all stakeholders.

    Essential Duties
    • Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both indoors and outdoors, to monitor for any suspicious activity or safety hazards.
    • Provide assistance to employees and visitors, answering questions and directing them as needed.
    • Enforce facility rules and regulations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
    • Report any incidents or irregularities to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner using the reporting protocols and software.
    • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
    Skills

    The required skills for this position include strong observational abilities, which are essential for identifying potential security threats during patrols. Effective communication skills are vital, as the associate will need to interact with a variety of individuals and convey important information clearly. Conflict resolution skills will be utilized when addressing any disturbances or issues that arise on-site, ensuring a peaceful environment.     Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Active Unarmed Security License.
    • Previous security experience is strongly preferred, with at least three (3) years of experience in security, law enforcement, military or related field.
    • Basic first aid and CPR certification preferred.
    • Familiarity with emergency response procedures.
