To be eligible for Skills for Chicago services, candidates must reside in Illinois or Indiana, be authorized to work in the United States, and be either unemployed or underemployed.

    Job Highlights


    • Monitor visitor and staff behavior to ensure safety and identify suspicious activities
    • Implement emergency protocols as needed
    • Respond to, document, and report incidents or security concerns
    • Assess and evaluate security risks regularly


    Candidate Profile


    • 3+ years of previous security experience required
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Must have an active and valid PERC card
    • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
    • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
