    PLEASE UPLOAD HS DIPLOMA/GED, RESUME, EPA CERTIFICATION AND TEXAS DRIVER LICENSEREQUIRED:* High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required in English;* Three (3) years of related experience in A/C & EMS repairs and installations required.* A valid Texas Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.* Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Universal Certification.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Completes all A/C & EMS work orders and emergency calls as directed. Documents all time, parts and material used in the process to complete work orders. Trouble shoots and repairs A/C & EMS systems within the District. Takes responsibility for the tools and all other materials assigned which are used to complete work orders. Performs all A/C & EMS installations and maintenance as directed. Follows documentation on all Environmental Protection Agency guidelines concerning the use of refrigerants. Requests materials needed to complete work orders. Completes installation of all materials, and documents all materials which were not used in the completion of work orders. Assures the safety of employees assisting work performed. Reports any A/C & EMS problems within the District to the Lead A/C, Foreman, and/or A/C & EMS Programmer.Assists other A/C & EMS technicians, helpers, and filter changers when requested and possible. Strives to promote the safety, health and comfort of all students and employees in performance of duties. Performs preventive maintenance work on A/C & EMS systems within the District. Maintains the indoor climate of the entire District's owned and operated facilities.Adheres to current mechanical codes. Drives District vehicles to and from work site; obeys all traffic laws. Strives to promote the safety, health and comfort of students and employees in the performance of duties. Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior as is expected of all District employees. Maintains professional growth by attending in-service and meeting as requested/required. Performs any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Director.
