Public Safety Officer

Insight Global is looking for a Public Safety Officer for one of our clients in the higher education space. As a member of the Department of Public Safety you'll be responsible for creating an positive and secure atmosphere amongst the community members on campus through a variety of activities from monitoring on-campus activity to incident reporting to threat response. This is a full time position located in the Inner Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco onsite 3 to 4 times a week. We are looking for someone with a collaborative attitude that has a passion for being a guardian within the community.

California POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) certificate - does not have to be current!
Consumer Affairs Guard Registration Card
Department of Justice Straight Baton Certification Card
BSIS Security Guard Chemical Agents Card
High School Diploma or GED

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
Red Cross Basic First Aid and CPR certification
Prior experience in a security related role
Prior work in a higher education setting
