    Donna ISD Summary, Responsibilities And Duties

    Provide instruction and coach students to develop skills and abilities to excel in the given sports assigned. Contribute to the education program as a whole and to the growth of students involved in athletics. Oversee the growth and progress of the entire program district-wide from middle school to high school.

    Use a variety of instructional techniques to meet the needs and improve the athletic abilities of student-athletes in the assigned sport.

    Manage, arrange, and supervise athletic activities, games, practices, and locker rooms.

    Promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.

    Work with other members of the school staff to plan and put in place instructional goals and objectives to ensure the overall educational development of student-athletes.

    Maintain student athletes' equipment, uniforms, and facilities.

    Be up to date with all UIL rules, regulations, and compliance items.

    Monitor student eligibility and criteria for extracurricular participation.

    Maintain and coordinate a continuing evaluation process for your sub-varsity and middle school coaches and make changes based on your findings.

    In charge of all travel arrangements, meal arrangements, and officials' paperwork for games home and away.

    Apply and enforce student discipline during athletic contests, practices, and school-related events in accordance with the UIL and School Code of Conduct.

    Establish and maintain an open line of communication with parents, teachers, and administrators.

    Work with the high school trainer to ensure all proper paperwork is in place via Rank-One.

    Accept all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Yearly stipend range: $10,500
