As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of individuals, properties, and assets within an event center, convenience stores, corporate buildings, and associated properties. You will implement security measures, monitor surveillance equipment, and respond to security incidents as needed.
Microsoft 365 software, Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Outlook; Internet Explorer; Apple mac OS/iOS, basic knowledge of project management software.
Ability to read and comprehend simple/complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write internal and external correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical business situations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in all formats and deal with both abstract and concrete variables.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work will primarily be performed in an office environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk extended periods. The employee occasionally is required to bend, climb, stoop, lift, carry, push, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 15 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
