A Glimpse of the Job
The Assistant Commandant is jointly responsible for the cadet and midshipmen leadership development program, Corps conduct process, and maritime training. This position supports and assists the Commandant in all aspects of cadet life and Corps operations. The Assistant Commandant provides mentorship and guidance to the cadet leadership and individual cadets & midshipmen through daily participation in University and Academy programs. The Assistant Commandant reports to the Commandant (Maritime Academy).
