Job Description
Our client is a Government body within Western Sydney who is looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Application specialist for a 3-month contract. A fantastic, friendly and flexible work environment awaits, with plenty of amenities on-site with parking secure parking available.
About the role
You will be working closely with end users and the I.T. Team to assist in system analysis, problem resolutions, user support, maintenance and development and enhancement of the application system. Your responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide support, training and conflict resolutions to users for PeopleSoft application
- Assist in the design, development of implementation of Application
- Provide input into existing policies and procedures
- Meeting with internal parties to understand business needs and requirements
- Monitoring and editing permissions
- Monitor system performance and capacity
- Reporting using Crystal and SQR
- Tertiary qualifications within computer science or information technology
- Commercial experience with PeopleSoft financials, Authority and Supply Chain Management
- Strong experience with PeopleSoft application and Oracle database
- Programming experience with SQL, PeopleCode and Crystal
- Sound knowledge in Oracle PeopleSoft Tier 4 Architecture
- Professional communication and presentation
- Project management experience is necessary
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications within computer science or information technology
- Commercial experience with PeopleSoft financials, Authority and Supply Chain
