    Position Summary:

    Traffic Control Flaggers are responsible for maintaining safe traffic flow through construction, utility, and roadway work zones. Flaggers communicate with motorists, pedestrians, and crew members to ensure a safe working environment while following all traffic control regulations and safety procedures.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Direct traffic through construction and work zones using signs, paddles, flags, and hand signals.

    Maintain a safe work environment for crew members, motorists, and pedestrians.

    Set up and remove traffic control devices as directed.

    Monitor traffic conditions and communicate hazards to supervisors and coworkers.

    Follow all company safety policies and state/local traffic control regulations.

    Remain alert and attentive during all shifts.

    Assist with general labor duties when traffic control responsibilities allow.

    Report incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.

    Requirements:

    Ability to stand for extended periods in varying weather conditions.

    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

    Strong communication skills.

    Ability to follow directions and safety procedures.

    Traffic Control/Flagger Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).

    Must be able to pass any client-required screenings.

    Work Environment:

    Outdoor work in all weather conditions.

    Exposure to moving traffic, construction equipment, and uneven terrain.

    Early morning, daytime, overtime, and weekend work may be required.
    Requirements:
    CDOT Flagger Certification, Ability to stand and work outside for possible 12 Hour shift
