Work is performed outdoors, may work in inclement weather and exposed to dust, fumes, and loud noises caused by vehicular traffic. Must possess the mobility to stand, stoop, kneel, reach, bend, climb, push and pull materials and equipment, and lift and carry up to 30 lbs, while wearing an appropriate uniform with protective equipment. Vision and hearing must be sufficient to see and hear adults and children in crowded and noisy conditions and/or situations. Must also possess the ability to hear and speak to communicate in person or by using a telephone and radio. Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear safety equipment where required. Incumbents typically work during the school year, Monday – Friday, morning and afternoon shifts, and may be assigned an irregular work schedule, including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays.
