    Position Summary

    Meritus Solutions Group is seeking professional Unarmed Guard Escorts to support U.S. Naval infrastructure operations at Naval Base Kitsap (NBK).

    Guard Escorts play a critical role in maintaining installation security by escorting contractors, vendors, and visitors who do not possess the required security credentials while performing work within restricted areas of the installation.

    Escort personnel are responsible for ensuring compliance with Navy security regulations, maintaining accountability of escorted personnel, and supporting overall force protection operations.

    This position requires professionalism, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to operate within a highly structured federal security environment.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Escort contractors, vendors, and visitors within designated restricted areas
    • Maintain continuous visual accountability of escorted personnel
    • Ensure compliance with all Navy installation security regulations and force protection requirements
    • Prevent unauthorized access to controlled or restricted areas
    • Monitor contractor work activities while escorts are being conducted
    • Report security concerns, suspicious activity, safety issues, or policy violations immediately
    • Complete required logs, escort records, and incident reports
    • Follow all federal, installation, and company security procedures
    • Communicate professionally with military personnel, government representatives, contractors, and visitors
    • Maintain professionalism and situational awareness at all times
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by contract leadership
    Minimum Qualifications

    Applicants must:
    • Be a U.S. Citizen
    • Be at least 18 years of age
    • Possess a High School Diploma or GED
    • Successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation
    • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
    • Be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
    • Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
    • Be capable of completing written reports and documentation accurately
    No prior security experience is required.

    Company assistance will be provided during the security clearance process.

    Education Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • DD214 (if prior military service)
    Required Certifications

    Applicants must possess:
    • Valid Driver's License
    Compensation

    Security Clearance Requirement
