C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst (MDA)

MDR is looking for an amazingly talented C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst to join our team! In this role you will become a member of the Parsons' TEAMS NEXT support staff with a primary work assignment supporting the Missile Defense Agency's Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC). This assignment requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes to include cost, schedule, and performance of contracts.What You'll Be Doing:Utilize working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fieldingDevelop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement ListsInterpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integrationPrepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partnersDevelop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadershipSupport and interact on a daily basis with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand)What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelors Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience or Master Degree and 12+ years of relevant experienceActive Secret clearancePossess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselinesExperience translating technical requirements into contract requirementsCapable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWSExperience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space based program and/or a DoDExpertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and executionWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Prior MDA experiencePosition Requirements:Clearance Required: SecretPosition Level: PrincipalFull TimeYears Related Work Experience: 20Education Level Required: 4-yrMission Driven Research is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/veterans.
