    Security Officer

    L4 is hiring for professional and highly dependable Security Officers (armed and unarmed) that are responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for special events and/or a tourism-based project. This role requires a composed individual who can effectively balance strong security awareness with exceptional customer service. The Officer will monitor event areas, manage crowd flow, enforce safety protocols, and respond promptly to incidents while representing the organization with professionalism and courtesy.

    The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent judgment, clear communication skills, and the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of guests, staff, and vendors. They must remain calm under pressure, handle sensitive situations with discretion, and provide assistance to visitors to enhance their overall experience. A strong presence, attention to detail, and commitment to public safety are essential for success in this role.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Maintain a visible security presence to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property during events.
    • Monitor assigned areas for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized access.
    • Control access points with client-specific credentials for entrance.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, giving directions, and assisting with inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Manage crowd flow and help prevent overcrowding or unsafe conditions.
    • Respond promptly and calmly to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances, following established procedures.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, event staff, and emergency personnel.
    • Enforce event rules, policies, and local regulations in a respectful and professional manner.
    • Prepare clear and accurate incident reports as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Must have a High School diploma or GED
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Maintain professionalism and ability to wear a uniform neatly and correctly
    • Ability to provide excellent customer service
    • Must have the ability to be alert and appropriately deal with escalated and crisis/emergency situations.
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time
    • Ability to walk continuously to patrol assigned areas.
    • Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
