    Job Description11-15 years of experience. Provides assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology. The Contractor acts as the SME for data science and analytics.The contractor acts as the Data Science/Analytics SME. Responsibilities include assisting in agency compliance with the Mayor's order on open data/data protection, preparing annual reports, performing data analysis on a variety of data sets, including sentencing and prosecution data. The contractor will also assist in the cleansing of current and historical litigation data, and the preparation of agency performance metrics and real time case information dashboards used by management. The contractor must have hands on experience not just a working knowledge using Tableau either as an Administrator or Analyst. Must be able to utilize PowerBI to provide analysis and build dashboards. Contractor should be able to use SAS to provide advanced analytics, business intelligence, data management and predictive analytics.ResponsibilitiesProvides assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology.Plans, organizes, and conducts research in a variety of areas, such as new or existing products, science, social science, law or business in support of an IT initiative.Searches sources such as reference works, literature, documents, newspapers, statistical records, and other sources of information. May use Internet, Intranet, magazines, periodicals, journals, and other media to perform research.Analyzes information and statistical data to prepare reports and studies for use by professionals.Provides high level guidance and hands‑on support for data migration and cleansing projects.Works with Tableau, Cognos, PowerBI, SAS, IBM SPSS, Qualtrics, or other data/statistical analysis software.Works with legal and professional staff to create performance metrics.Participates in predictive analytics pilot projects.Designs data collection mechanisms used for various criminal justice and civil litigation programs.Leads case management system data cleansing effort.Acts to support multi‑agency data exchange initiatives.Performs data cataloging and categorization by risk level.Acts as high‑level data science consultant for Child Support Enforcement division.Minimum Education / Certification RequirementsMaster's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.Required Experience11-15 years as SME in complex enterprise‑level projects.Master's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.Experience using Tableau, as either an administrator, analyst, or other user role.Experience using PowerBI to perform analysis, build dashboards, or other user role.Experience using SAS to build statistical analysis tools, work with existing models, or other user role.Experience performing data cleansing on data from any data source (spreadsheet or database).Experience with Qualtrics.Experience preparing charts, reports, dashboards, or C‑level presentations.Must have experience in predictive analytics.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
