    divh2Executive Protection Specialist/h2pThe primary responsibility of this position is to provide a safe and protective environment for senior executives of the company and other VIPs visiting the executive suite, as well as safely transport select Calamos executives and guests as needed. This position will also coordinate contingency and emergency medical response incidents while in the field./ppPrimary Responsibilities:/pulliEnsures executives and VIPs safety at all times in various location sites and situations./liliResearches, assesses, and assists with reports and advisories on security risks./liliAbility to work independently and to adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness and energy./liliDemonstrated exceptional results in a client-service role which includes but is not limited to; greeting all guests in a professional and friendly manner, accommodating executives needs, and carrying luggage./liliDetermines directions to the desired destination(s) and adheres to the state driving rules and regulations at all times./liliPerforms regular checks to make sure the vehicles are in proper working condition./liliReports and escalates any incidents directly to the Director Operations - Security./liliWorks as required/when necessary including on varying shifts, days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed to fulfill the responsibilities outlined above./liliMaintain a professional appearance. Impeccable grooming and appearance are important. Conservative attire with neutral colors, limited jewelry, with appropriate hairstyle and groomed facial hair./liliPerforms related duties as assigned./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliAssociates Degree in Law Enforcement or Military Service required./liliMust possess a valid drivers license./liliPrior certification as a Local, State or Federal Law Enforcement Officer, with current LEOSA and/or IROCC./liliPrevious experience in protective intelligence or physical security required, previous experience chauffeuring executives preferred./liliMust be able to read and write English fluently and maintain a professional communication style./liliMust be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends./liliCertifications in first-aid and CPR/AED or the ability to obtain these certifications required./liliMust be able to physically carry out the job responsibilities listed above. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, be able to sit or stand for lengthy periods of time and work in various temperatures and weather conditions./liliAbility to acquire and maintain a Passport for international travel as needed./li/ulpCompensation Disclosure:/ppThe compensation for this role takes into account various factors, including work location, individual skill set, relevant experience, and other business needs. The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000. Additionally, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus./ppPlease note that this is the current estimate of the base salary range intended for this role at the time of posting.
