Summary
Supervisory Firefighter
Serves as Supervisory Firefighter responsible for the overall supervision of Fire Protection and Prevention Programs, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program, and the Hazardous Material Response (HazMat)/WMD Program.
Responsible for the implementation of the training, administration, budget, and equipment procurement for Fire Protection and Prevention Programs, Emergency Medical Technician, and Hazardous Material Response (HazMat)/WMD Programs.
Serves as technical advisor to management on all matters relating to fire protection and prevention, EMT, and HazMat/WMD issues and projects.
Supervises the actual firefighting activities of the installations by implementing procedures, techniques, and methods of operation for rapid and effective response to fire calls.
Assists the Fire Chief in maintaining continuing contacts with management and employees to "sell" the Prevention Program.
