    Commercial Dispatcher

    We are assisting our client in Tempe, AZ to hire a Commercial Dispatcher on a contract to a permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects that pertain to your designated customer accounts. Conduct telephonic and electronic follow up and closing functions for open work orders on dedicated accounts in order to meet the contractual obligations of each client. Intent is to ensure work orders are completed on time. This position will also involve handling daily customer communications, which includes but is not limited to keeping customers informed of work being performed at their location, providing updates to customers, and handling escalations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate administrative functions including purchase orders, scheduling, reporting, and vendor management.
    • Guide subcontractors in completing work assignments while ensuring compliance with technical and administrative expectations.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to guarantee the uninterrupted operation of equipment and facility systems.
    • Respond promptly to maintenance requests for HVAC, security systems, IT equipment, and emergency issues affecting the facility.
    • Maintain organized documentation, records, and procedures for effective work management and oversight.
    • Uphold safety protocols in alignment with company guidelines.
    • Facilitate open communication across teams including employees, contractors, and management.
    • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes; identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across departments.
    • Generate daily/weekly reports on open work orders for supervisor review.
    • Keep thorough and accurate records of office-related matters and ensure consistent file maintenance.
    • Communicate status updates on completed and upcoming maintenance activities with supervisors.
    • Participate in weekly staff meetings and safety training sessions.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, property management, or customer service.
    • 5+ years of related industry experience preferred.
    • Prior experience managing service delivery for skilled trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roofing) preferred.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Windows applications (Excel, Word) and typing speed of at least 50 WPM.
    • Strong writing skills and a friendly, professional demeanor with a commitment to excellence.

    Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
