Summary
Crossing Guard
Note: This position is for the 2025-2026 school year. The salary will be based on the 2025-2026 salary schedule which is not yet approved by the Board of Education. The salary listed is based on the current year's salary schedule.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Ability to perform duties within assigned time frames
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Reports To:
Building Principal
Supervises:
No supervision of other personnel
Job Goal:
Assure safety of students in route to school or home
Crossing Guard 1.5 hours
Performance Responsibilities:
- Ensure that each student safely crosses the street.
- Positively communicate with students and parents in giving directions.
- All other duties related to job as assigned by the principal.
Terms Of Employment: 169 days per school year
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy in relation to the evaluation of classified personnel.
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Clearances: Non-Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
