    SCHEDULE: Night shift

    Position Summary
    The Crisis Residential Support Specialist provides support to consumers and providers within the Crisis Residential Recovery Unit (CRRU) and the Children's Crisis Unit. This role focuses on ensuring consumer safety, assisting during crisis situations, and supporting the daily operations of the units.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor consumers to ensure safety and well-being.
    • Assist with proper medication self-administration.
    • Handle telephone contacts for the CRRU crisis line and Mobile Crisis services (Ashland location).
    • Document crisis calls and maintain accurate records.
    • Ensure proper completion and review of admission and discharge paperwork.
    • Monitor and record vital signs and conduct routine bed checks.
    • Assist in resolving immediate crisis situations.
    • Complete required 40-hour crisis intervention training.
    • Transport clients to necessary services when needed.
    • Maintain and review client charts nightly to ensure accuracy.
    • Represent the organization professionally with consumers, families, and outside entities.
    Skills & Knowledge Required
    • Strong observation and crisis response skills
    • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records
    • Professional communication with consumers, staff, and external partners
    • Ability to work in high-stress situations with compassion and professionalism
