    Surveillance Agent II/Technician

    Under the supervision of the Director of Surveillance, Surveillance Agent II/Technician is responsible for all aspects of the Surveillance/ CCTV (closed circuit television) system. Provide the overall on-site technical support of the systems. The Surveillance Agent II/Technician serves as the primary point of contact for monitoring the systems health. In addition, responsible for installation and configuration of IP networks, Windows client/server. Ability to read, understand and interpret project schedules, relocation of all surveillance equipment, diagnostics, repair, monitoring of existing equipment, routine maintenance. Must also have knowledge of all policies and procedures, including Internal Controls, NIGC, TMICS, required to write detailed and accurate reports with results of investigations and any other duties as assigned.

    NOTE: Native American preference will be given

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include, but not limited to the following:

    • Monitors all areas of the property, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting same to the appropriate individual or entity, for proper resolution.
    • Must possess full capabilities of a Surveillance Agent II and fill in for same as required.
    • Usage of all surveillance equipment
    • Install video cameras as required to observe and protect casino assets.
    • Repairs or replaces faulty equipment on a timely basis.
    • Ensures that equipment installations and repairs are in compliance with National Indian Gaming Commission requirements
    • Installs audio equipment as required.
    • Installs monitors and video recorders.
    • Troubleshooting of surveillance system
    • Document and maintain inventory of current equipment, spares, supplies, and units outsource/in-transit for repairs.
    • Must be able to terminate and test cables such as cat 6, RG59 etc
    • Maintain a maintenance schedule for all equipment.
    • Fill in and alter shifts as required for unexpected absence.
    • Any other duties assigned or pertaining to the job.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be 21 years of age or older.
    • Associates Degree (A.A./A.S.) from an accredited two-year college or university preferred but not mandatory or equivalent experience within this technical field.
    • Prefer prior Indian Gaming experience in a surveillance/security capacity or equivalent experience for a minimum of three years.
    • Knowledge of various tools: electronic, CCTV, computer, and electrical/mechanical fields.
    • Principles and practices of Surveillance Agent II standards.
    • Excellent working knowledge of the complexities of a matrix switching CCTV surveillance system of equivalent.
    • Knowledge of the National Indian Gaming Commission and All State and Tribal gaming rules and regulations is also a requirement.
