Job Details
Are you looking to be part of a company where teamwork is encouraged? A company with plenty of growth and career advancement opportunities? Do you want a flexible schedule? Look no further because we are currently seeking a Part-Time Base Operator Security Officer to join our growing USI team in Altoona/Des Moines, IA!
Saturday and Sunday 7am-3pm
Wednesday and Thursday 3pm-11pm
Responsibilities include:
- Provide customer service and information to tenant employees and guests.
- Provide a safe and secure environment for employees and guests.
- Provide for the security of the client's property.
- Enforce the safety and security policies and rules of the client.
- Vehicle patrol to provide safeguarding for the parking lots and exterior of the premises.
Skills:- Excellent customer service skills
- Hospitality/retail experience a plus
- Computer skills
- Some Microsoft Office experience a plus
- Must have attention to detail
- Must have a professional demeanor
- Ability to walk continuously for 30 minutes at a time
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must be punctual, reliable, and self-motivated
- Must maintain a high degree of honesty, integrity, and work ethic
- Must be at least 19 years old
- 1 year customer service experience
- 1 year security experience
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Valid Iowa Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Must successfully pass a State of Iowa background check to obtain a State of Iowa Security Officer License
- Candidates must also be able to successfully pass ALL pre-employment screenings
Certification Requirements- State Security License
