Sunstates Security is currently hiring a Part-Time Security Officer in the Tobyhanna, PA area.
Job Skills / Requirements
These positions offer a starting pay rate of $17.00/hr - with weekly pay.
Days and hours can vary depending on operational needs.
Tuesday - Thursday 15:00 - 23:00
Requirements:
- Current NJ SORA License.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security or leadership training a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Experience in customer service, security, or related field.
- Must be able to assist with logging in and out of the required system by using the tablet.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work indoors/outdoors as needed.
- Have teamwork experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
- Report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches.
- Provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations.
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders/SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

NJ SORA License
