Adecco is currently seeking a Loss Prevention and Safety Agent (LPA) for a premier client in Shafter, CA. This role is ideal for individuals interested in building a long-term career in safety, security, and loss prevention. The LPA is responsible for ensuring the safety of all associates and protecting company assets while maintaining a professional and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Loss Prevention and Safety Associate, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Greet visitors, associates, and contractors while enforcing required safety protocols
- Maintain site security and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage access control at facility entry points with professionalism and confidentiality
- Conduct routine safety audits, identify risks, and communicate findings
- Monitor the facility for hazards and unsafe conditions
- Respond to incidents, conduct investigations, and report findings to stakeholders
- Support theft prevention initiatives and asset protection measures
- Operate and maintain security systems including CCTV, access control, and radio communication
- Prepare and send reports and correspondence through various communication channels
- Assist during emergency situations and coordinate with local Police and Fire officials
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, instant messaging, and ability to learn new systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to effectively interact with visitors, contractors, leadership, and staff
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to de-escalate and resolve conflicts
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to confidentiality
- Ability to analyze situations and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Rotating schedule including weekends and holidays
- Flexibility to work alternative shifts based on business needs
- Immediate openings available on 2nd Shift 2:30 PM-11 :00 PM
- Weekly pay starting at $21.38 per hour

- Long-term opportunity with potential for full-time hire after 90 days
