    $59,980 - $67,000 Hiring Range DOQ • Full Benefits • Non-Exempt

    The Town of Jackson is seeking a qualified, motivated professional to serve the community as a combination Street and Water Operator. Primary duties: snow removal operations in winter months and water utility work the remainder of the time including: maintenance of the Town's water distribution system, plant equipment, wells, pumps and mains; equipment operation related to water utilizing technical digging equipment for removal and backfill of material and uncovering buried critical water lines and connections; and analysis and documentation associated with the water system. Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.     The ideal candidate brings:
    • High School graduation or equivalent
    • Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain within 3 months
    • Experience with snow removal operations
    • Level II DEQ Water Distribution License (or ability to obtain within 18 months)
