Security - Patriot Place Mobile PT

SUMMARY

The Security Patrol Officer has the responsibility of preserving the integrity of the center by patrolling the exterior of our tenants' buildings. In addition to patrolling the center for security issues, the patrol officer will also look for safety violations. Officers assigned to this position shall adhere to the following functions/tasks associated with this position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide security presence on property and assist tenants
2. Inform the Shift Supervisor of any security and safety issues
3. Respond to incidents such as potential thefts, medical emergencies, fights, and property damage
4. Complete shift logs
5. Complete all incident reports if there are any occurrences to report
6. Assist in all emergency situations
7. Enforce the centers policies, i.e. smoking, pets on property, unattended packages
8. Complete routine tours of the center
9. Assist the shift supervisor as needed, standing in when necessary

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• N/A

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• On foot patrol of property is required
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• 18 years of age or older
• Flexible schedule: nights, weekends and holidays may be required
• Must be able to adhere to process protocol and must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud on event days.
