Hollywood Park, a near 300-acre sports and entertainment destination, is being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke with the 70,000-seat SoFi Stadium as its centerpiece. When complete, Hollywood Park will have up to 2,500 residences, a hotel, a retail district reaching up to 890,000 square feet, up to 5 million square feet of office space, and more than 25-acres of public parks and open space. Home to the Los Angeles Chargers and Super Bowl LVI Champion Los Angeles Rams, SoFi Stadium is the host of world-renowned sporting events, including Super Bowl LVI in 2022, College Football Playoff National Championship game 2023, WrestleMania 2023, World Cup 2026, and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympics in 2028. Adjacent to the stadium and under the same roof canopy is a 2.5-acre open-air plaza, American Airlines Plaza, and the 6,000-seat YouTube Theater.

As The Security Dispatcher, You Will...

• Security Dispatcher personnel to emergency and non-emergency calls for service.
• Process and record emergency and routine calls for service.
• Answer incoming phone calls, operate a computer dispatch system, and monitor alarm systems.
• Monitor and direct appropriate response to all calls for service.
• Visually monitor extensive CCTV system.
• Communicate with law enforcement agencies, as necessary, to coordinate emergency/non-emergency information in real-time.
• Properly dispatch/categorize all call types for service.
• Knowledge of CCTV system established protocols/operations of all equipment including tracking maintenance needs of cameras, servers. Acknowledge/identify the need for contact assistance of any operational issues that may affect views/footage.
• Other duties as necessary and assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of prior Dispatcher experience
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Able to exercise good judgement while assessing emergency and non-emergency situations; ability to maintain a calm and rationale demeanor.
• Demonstrated ability to operate a two-way radio and various communication equipment.
• Able to prioritize work and maintain effective time management skills.
• Preferred prior experience working in a Security role and environment.
• Flexible schedule; able to work nights, weekend, and holidays as required.
• Position is a sedentary position; incumbent must be able to remain seated for extended periods of time.

Essential Environmental Conditions:

• INSIDE/OUTSIDE:
  • Frequently works both indoors in climate-controlled environments and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including exposure to direct sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, sleet, and wind. The employee must be able to perform essential functions in both indoor and outdoor settings.
• COLD/HEAT:
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, including both climate-controlled indoor environments and outdoor temperatures ranging from typical Southern CA weather. Range, e.g., 40F to 100F. Must be able to perform essential functions in these temperature variations.
• WET/DRY:
  • Potential exposure to wet conditions, including rain and damp surfaces, while performing outdoor duties. May be exposed to dry conditions while performing indoor duties.
• NOISE/VIBRATIONS:
  • Exposure to intermittent high noise levels exceeding [Specify Decibel Level, e.g., 85 dB] from large crowds, amplified music during sporting events, concerts and festivals, pyrotechnic displays, and high-impact events such as monster truck shows; potential for associated vibrations.
• HAZARDS:
  • Potential exposure to common workplace hazards, including slippery surfaces, crowds, and emergency situations. Must be able to follow safety protocols.

Compensation: $22.00/hour - $24.00/hour In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Hollywood Park considers a candidate's education, certification, prior experience, as well as internal and external data when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Only in exceptional circumstances, if an external candidate has the experience, credentials, or expertise far exceeding what is expected for the position, would Hollywood Park consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
