    Great Hill Solutions, part of the Seneca Nation Group (SNG), is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer in Washington, D.C. This role involves driving cloud engineering initiatives, supporting cloud environments, and ensuring security and performance across platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.

    Roles and Responsibilities include:

    1. Design, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructures ensuring high availability and performance.
    2. Oversee cloud projects from inception to completion, including migrations and optimizations.
    3. Manage Kubernetes environments (AKS, EKS, GKE) for scalability and security.
    4. Configure and troubleshoot cloud security tools like Azure Firewall, Sentinel, and IAM solutions.
    5. Automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform, Ansible, ARM, Bicep, and PowerShell.
    6. Engage in incident management, root cause analysis, and process improvements.
    7. Collaborate with teams to optimize operations, ensure compliance (FedRAMP, NIST), and implement DevSecOps practices.
    8. Mentor junior engineers and support on-call duties.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Active Top Secret clearance (interim acceptable).
    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years in cloud engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure management.
    • Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code.
    • Skills in cloud security, identity management, scripting (PowerShell, Python), and troubleshooting.

    Desired Skills:

    • Master's degree and relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Experience with containers, microservices, cost optimization, and compliance standards.

    Soft Skills & Attributes:

    • Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
    • Proactive and adaptable personality.

    The salary range is estimated at $160,000—$185,000 USD. Seneca provides comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, retirement, and flexible work arrangements.
