    Dispatcher (FTL & Intermodal Drayage)

    Location: Baltimore, MD

    Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000

    Overview

    A leading transportation provider is seeking a Dispatcher to support daily full truckload and intermodal drayage operations. This role is responsible for coordinating drivers, managing schedules, and ensuring on-time service in a fast-paced, real-time environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Dispatch and schedule drivers for FTL and container/drayage moves
    • Coordinate appointments with ports, rail ramps, warehouses, and customers
    • Monitor loads in real time and adjust for delays, traffic, or service issues
    • Communicate consistently with drivers and customers regarding updates and ETAs
    • Support container flow, equipment availability, and appointment compliance
    • Maintain accurate load data, notes, and tracking in dispatch/TMS systems

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of dispatch experience in trucking, logistics, or intermodal environments
    • Familiarity with drayage/port operations preferred
    • Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency with dispatch systems, TMS, or ELD platforms

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Competitive base salary range: $65,000 – $75,000, depending on experience
