    Dispatcher

    Texas Johns is a leading provider of comprehensive construction site services in the DFW, Greater San Antonio, Houston, and Austin Metroplexes.     The Dispatcher's primary responsibility is to ensure all routes and work orders/deliveries are scheduled and organized in the most efficient and optimized method daily. Work closely with Supervisor and labor demands. Dispatcher shall also assist in a customer service role and answer phones during high call volume times. Dispatcher shall assist sale persons with customers' requests.

    Prefer bilingual: English and Spanish

    Duties:

    • Route and optimize the next day's routes by 4 pm daily
    • Route and optimize the next day's work orders between 2-4 pm daily
    • Perform a "route audit" for all prior day's routes by 9:00 am each day
    • Complete the "route analysis spreadsheet" daily and input values
    • Input customer and salespersons orders daily
    • Answer Texas Johns incoming phone calls
    • Report any route or work order issues to Supervisor
    • Other relevant and related duties and tasks as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Proficient with computers, Microsoft applications and phone systems
    • Knowledge of routing and route optimization processes
    • Friendly attitude and "listening ear"
    • Ability to solve problems
    • One year experience minimum in routing and route driving
    • Role requires person to sit in an office environment
    • Position hours are M-F and some weekends as needed. Occasionally, a shift will run long into the evening hours
    • Position requires person to sit in an office environment for extended times
