Responds to fire, rescue, EMS, hazardous materials, and other emergency incidents as part of an assigned company. Performs advanced firefighting operations, including fire suppression, search and rescue, ventilation, salvage, and overhaul. Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots fire apparatus, pumps, and specialized equipment. Serves as lead firefighter on scene when directed, providing tactical direction and ensuring safe, effective operations. Assists the Lieutenant with daily company operations, including personnel accountability, station duties, and readiness. Provides mentorship, training, and evaluation support for probationary firefighters and less experienced personnel. Monitors safety conditions on the fireground and communicates concerns to command staff. Ensures compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
