Security Officer
Citiguard is currently hiring security officers to contribute to our workforce. We pride ourselves on the protection we provide to our clients and community. Handling confidential information and being able to maintain professionalism is of utmost importance. Ability to withstand frequent attempts to provoke and incite confrontation. Strong ability to de-escalate and prevent altercations. Ability to remain calm and composed when interacting with agitated/unreasonable/unstable individuals.
Must have open availability.
Responsibilities:
Bilingual
- Perform multiple duties specified by the post orders and standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Must read and become extremely aware of post orders that require quick and reliable service.
- Must perform as a visible deterrent to crime and client orders.
- Detect and report suspicious criminal acts at the post/near the post, including threatening acts towards the property, clients, employees or guests on site.
- Provide an exceptional service to our clients and customers.
- Perform the tasks assigned by the client or supervisors.
- Monitor, maintain, and inspect facilities.
- Enforce any rules or regulations in accordance with policy.
- Respond to incidents, gather information, and document.
- Request emergency personnel in high-risk situations.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have the flexibility to work all days and shifts as needed.
Valid BSIS Guard Card is required.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Possesses a high school education or equivalent (GED).
Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Guaranteed 40 hours/week paid & possible overtime.
Pay rate and work hours will be discussed during the interview process.
Pay is based on experience.

Pay: Starts at $30 -$35 per hour
