    Job Title

    Intelligence Analyst

    Job Description

    The primary purpose of this position is responsible for assisting in providing finished intelligence on worldwide operational capability to utilize foreign air and space systems to a variety of intelligence clients, including the acquisition community, national policy makers, and operational commands.

    Duties

    DUTY 1: Independently extracts data from numerous databases to answer internal and external customer requirements; tracking medium to high priority production requirements through the tasking, processing, exploitation and dissemination processes. Incumbent may manage a defined range of activities to ensure development, execution, and assessment of world-wide collection operations.

    DUTY 2: Responsible for integrating complex intelligence information to enhance overall understanding of foreign systems; conducts research on asset capabilities and provides complex collection request input supporting worldwide operations. The work consists of different and unrelated processes and methods requiring the employee to recognize conditions and elements that must be identified and analyzed to discern interrelationships.

    DUTY 3: Independently evaluates new approaches and makes recommendation to improve the state-of-the-art data processing, analysis, and reporting. Apprises consumers of developments and related background information associated to the tasking. Contributes to the evaluation of new approaches to improve routine data processing, analysis, and reporting problems.

    DUTY 4: Reviews and evaluates proposals for initiatives from government contractors for modifying or enhancing the efficiency and/or effectiveness of data processing, analysis and reporting tools, and makes recommendations for implementation into the production environment. Maintains liaison activities and staff coordination through accepted channels of communication with counterparts at national intelligence organizations, the military services and combatant commands.
