Cyber Intelligence Support Specialist
The primary purpose of this position is to provide cyber intelligence support to programs across the acquisition life-cycle (Acquisition Intelligence). Supports effective research, development, fielding, employment, sustainment and improvement of Space Force capabilities by identifying cyber related intelligence requirements, resolving/mitigating deficiencies, integrating intelligence, and providing needed intelligence data and infrastructure in a timely and secure manner.
DUTY 1: Provides cyber Intelligence Supportability Analysis to DoD/USSF Acquisition programs, systems, and processes. Serves as an expert for a cyber-related intelligence function, process, program, or weapon system. Employs cybersecurity expertise to achieve technical understanding of a US weapon system's intelligence information requirements to identify and minimize cost, schedule, and performance risks as early in the system's lifecycle as possible.
DUTY 2: Performs Adversary Cyber Threat Assessments: Serves as the SME for the development of a complex and nonroutine effort to assess cyber threats in support of the acquisition process.
DUTY 3: Serves as a multi-source Intelligence Specialist specializing in cyber threat and cyber-security intelligence. Performs complex cyber and cyber-security intelligence analysis with emphasis on Space Force and DoD programs'/systems' acquisition activities, and leads teams/projects supporting MAJCOM, Space Force, and DoD acquisition processes and programs.
DUTY 4: Presents ISR capabilities to a variety of program office, service, national, and/or coalition customers. Applies knowledge of acquisition and IC cyber collection, analysis and production capabilities--to include awareness of the variety of intelligence databases, collection management processes, requirements management systems, IC roles and responsibilities, online intelligence documentation, and new intelligence technology developments--to ensure program cyber threat requirements are identified, as well as recommends solutions for recognized gaps.
